Over the years I have found there is a need for access to free MS Project compatible software to enable new starters to get going with project planning or for individuals within an organisation to see project managers plans without purchasing MS Office.
The simplist solution is to download openproj from http://openproj.org/
Its free, reliable, simple to use.
In my next blog I will be discussing how to print a project plan to PDF so that your plans can be shared around organisations effectively without them getting altered.
